Cold Galvanized Non-rotating wire rope has a moderated strength to resist corrosion once exposed to humidity and water. Cold galvanizing process is done in the temperature of about 240 to 260 degrees and adds a thin layer of Zinc on the surface of wire rope سیم بکسل . this thin layer has better propensity to lose electrons and therefore protects the cells of carbon steel from losing electron and getting oxidized. in most cases since non-roating wire ropes are used on tower cranes low level of environmental corrosion.
